A Protested Success

Midnight is proud to say that “Separation of Church and Prostate” was a smashing success! Finally back in their original home, the Risley Theatre, Midnight performed to two almost sold out shows smashing their attendance with a total of 125 people! Even though some on campus were hesitant about the show and in fact protested the event, Midnight went on to perform making the audience laugh the entire way through! Thank you to everyone who came we hope to see you all in the same place next year!

The O-Week Show MUST GO ON!

After some struggles with location and reservations, Cornell’s Comedy Troupes pushed through and performed the O-Week Show for the 2023-24 academic year! As is tradition, Cornell’s Comedy Troupes band together at the beginning of the year to showcase their talents to the Cornell community in hopes of enticing people to their auditions later in the week. Risley Theatre (and a special thanks to Aidan McNay) came in clutch allowing us to have a home for our show which brought in 120+ people to see us perform our routines! It was an incredible night, and we are happy everyone had such a wonderful time!
Midnight Comedy Returns to the stage for the first time after covid

It has been a long time coming, but they finally came ;). The Midnight Comedy Troupe finally returned to the stage today with their hit show, Just The Tip: Getting to Second Baste, after a long hiatus due to the COVID-19 virus. The troupe looked energetic and full of new faces as they stormed and commanded the stage with their constant onslaught of hilarious jokes and quips. With a dedicated troupe like that, one can only imagine what crazy and dark skecthes they will put on next year!
